ECITB CCSNG Safety Passport

Course Programme
The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) are the awarding body for all CCNSG training.
The CCNSG courses are designed to provide an introduction and understanding of basic site safety requirements. The most in demand course in the 2 day CCNSG Safety Passport. Students can also take an additional day training for CCNSG Leading a Team Safely.
The Client/Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport scheme aims to make sure that contractors working on engineering, manufacturing and construction sites are provided the relevant health and safety training. This also assists in standardising training and reducing unaccredited training.

The one day Renewal course has to be taken within three months of the Safety passport expiry date.

Students will learn:
• Safety Behaviours at Work. Health & Safety Act 1974, Risk & Hazards, Fire Safety, Manual Handling, Confined Spaces, Asbestos, COSHH, Signage, Environmental aspects, Reporting & RIDDOR
• How to communicate effective and lead a team safely
• How to achieve safe outcomes

Entry Requirements
A good understanding of reading, spoken and written English. Please note that this course is only conducted in English and therefore it is paramount that students are able to communicate in English.

Assessment
This is a very interactive course and students are assessed daily through case studies, group work exercises and there is a multiple choice test at the end
Students must attend each and every session of the CCNSG course.

Qualification
ECITB CCNSG Card or ECITB CCNSG Leading a Team Safely Card.
The Qualification is valid for 3 years, after which students will need to undertake another 1 day CCSNG Renewal course to maintain the qualification for a further 3 years.

Tutors
The trainer assigned for your course delivery is accredited by the ECITB as an approved trainer for this course programme.
We work with only those trainers who have significantly delivered to a high standard over a number of years and receive exceptionally positive feedback.

In House Training
This class is also available on what is known as in house training. We are able to arrange a trainer to come to your company premises to deliver the class on dates of your choosing. Please contact us for further details if this is a suitable option.
